Making permanent the Xpress September 15th, 2025 Schedule Adjustments

As part of our ongoing efforts to improve your commute, the Georgia Transportation Efficiency Authority (GTEA) implemented temporary schedule adjustments to Xpress service starting September 15, 2025

These changes will become permanent following an equity analysis and public comment period.

The “Redefining the Ride – Xpress 2.0” initiative launched in June 2025, and are based on demand, rider feedback, and operational analysis. Our goals are to better align service with ridership patterns and enhance reliability.

What’s Changing?

  • Expanded all-week service: Increased AM and PM frequency on Routes 412, 414, 426, 430, and 441 to support higher demand during peak hours.
  • Additional Monday & Friday trips: More Monday & Friday trips added on Routes 401, 419, 426, 430, 441, 453, 463, and 476 for consistent all-week schedules.
  • Schedule Adjustments: Minor timing changes on Routes 430 and 441 to improve service consistency and standardize frequency.

These updates reflect GTEA’s commitment to delivering dependable, efficient service while ensuring long-term sustainability for Xpress riders across the region.

In compliance with requirements, guidelines, and service standards outlined in its Title VI program, the Xpress Commuter Bus service managed by the Georgia Transportation Efficiency Authority (GTEA) is considering proposed service changes to the level of service currently being delivered. Comment is requested on the proposed service changes. The formal public comment period begins on September 1, 2026 and closes on September 30, 2026.
